Work through these in order. Each lesson shows the sequences on a 3D cube and then sets up a cube for you to practise on, with the earlier stages already done.

1. Step 1

   How to read the moves

   Names for the six faces and the turns

2. Step 2

   Stage 1 — the white cross

   Four white edges on the bottom, side colours matching

3. Step 3

   Stage 2 — the white corners

   Finish the whole first layer

4. Step 4

   Stage 3 — the middle layer

   Two layers done

5. Step 5

   Stage 4 — the yellow cross

   Flip the top edges

6. Step 6

   Stage 5 — the whole yellow face

   Twist the last corners

7. Step 7

   Stage 6 — put the last corners home

   Corners first, then edges

8. Step 8

   Stage 7 — the final edges
